Career Fair KL Convention Center [ 18 - 20 MAC 2011 ]

Salam sejahtera

Ramai yang terlepas 'Career Fair' baru-baru
ini kerana tak mendapat maklumat ini. Tak mengapa
kerana masih ada 2 career fair antara bulan ini
dan April 2011. Untuk bulan ini, ianya akan
diadakan di KLCC. Butiran adalah seperti berikut;

Satu tips penting untuk ke career fair ialah;

>>> Sediakan sekurang-kurangnya 2 set resume
yang berbeza. Satu untuk kerjaya umum dan satu untuk
kerjaya yang spesifik.

Salah satu faktor kegagalan permohonan kerja swasta
ialah penggunaan 'resume umum'. Resume umum mengandungi
maklumat asas anda dan ianya untuk dihantar secara
umum untuk jawatan terbuka seperti bidang pemasaran
dan pentadbiran.

Tapi resume yang spesifik anda masukkan career objective,
apa yang anda nak untuk satu jawatan. Contohnya jika
jawatan yang dipohon adalah jawatan jurutera, sudah
pasti 'career objective' adalah sangat spesifik.

Jadi senjata yang anda bawa ke 'career fair' adalah 2!
Lebih banyak lebih bagus. Barulah potensi untuk memohon
banyak 'cabang bidang kerja' terbuka untuk anda

Ramai yang pergi bawa 20-30 salinan resume umum. Kenapa
tidak bawa;

>>> 20 salinan resume umum
>>> 20 salinan resume spesifik 1
>>> 20 salinan resume spesifik 2

Nak memancing ikan pun ada jenis-jenis joran dan saiz
matakail. Contohnya;

>>> Ikan puyu/lampam saiz matakail 7, tali 10lb
>>> Ikan siakap/toman saiz matakail 17, tali 15lb

Kalau saiz tak kena, senang-senang saja terlepas =)

Jadi resume anda kena seperti itu, untuk jawatan
yang berbeza, resume juga harus berbeza dan perumpamaan
memancing tadi rasanya cukup untuk membuat kita nampak
logik dan keperluan mempunyai resume yang berbeza
